How to Support the MCVFA
Thank you for your interest in supporting the call/volunteer fire and emergency medical services of Massachusetts. We truly appreciate your generosity as we continue to support our members with programming, training, and resources.
The MCVFA Fund has several options for your donation. As part of the fundraising initiative, you have the option to designate your donation to support a specific program of your choice:
The General Fund represents an area of essential need. This includes among other things funds to manage the day-to-day operations at the Association.
Robert J. Hindley Memorial Scholarship
For MCVFA members or immediate family members currently pursuing or planning to pursue undergraduate or graduate studies, vocational training, a certification program, or job skills training at an accredited institution.
Health & Wellness
Provides a variety of information and guidance on many different wellness-related topics, including nutrition, fitness and mental health.
Fire Prevention Education
The MCVFA assists in procuring and improving resources and programs for member departments providing fire prevention education in their communities.
Provide call/volunteer firefighters and EMT’s with the skills and knowledge to better handle the various problems they may face.
Recruitment and Retention
The MCVFA assists member departments to devise means of attracting and retaining call/volunteer emergency personnel through media advertising to get the message to the general public that their help is needed in their respective communities.
