Interested in attending the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) Training Summit June 1-2 in Concord, NC, but concerned about the cost? Scholarships are available to help more NVFC members attend. The deadline to apply for a scholarship is April 1 – apply now.
The NVFC Training Summit is a two-day event featuring classroom sessions on a variety of topics critical to the volunteer fire, emergency medical, and rescue services. In addition, the Summit provides an opportunity to network and share ideas and best practices with fire service members from across the country. View agenda.
The registration fee for the Summit is $75, which provides two days of training from nationally-recognized instructors, lunches, and a special networking social event. To help more first responders attend, a scholarship is available for NVFC members. The scholarship will reimburse two nights hotel plus up to $500 per person for transportation expenses. In addition, the registration fee will be waived (or reimbursed, if you have already registered). The final deadline to apply for a scholarship is April 1, with notification by April 20.
